Global Energy Management (GEM) is one of ENGIE’s Business Units. We deliver services in supply and logistics management, asset management, risk management, market access management, while contributing to the market understanding, design and efficiency and developing market solutions to accelerate the energy transition.

GEM manages one of the largest and most diversified energy portfolios in Europe, including electricity, natural gas, bulk commodities and environmental products.

The GEM Communications Department designs, builds and promotes a consistent identity, image and reputation of the ENGIE brand and the Business Unit expertise both internally and externally.
We support our BU’s transformation plan and new business orientations by making GEM activities well known among our staff, within ENGIE and towards our stakeholders.

To contribute to reach these objectives, we are hiring a passionnate and writing professional to support content creation and processing in our Content, Digital and Press team. If you have experience in editing, writing, and managing an editorial calendar, you’re the right candidate. We’re looking for the right mix of editing skills, writing skills, project management skills, marketing know-how and creativity. You will interface with multiple stakeholders—internal and external—throughout the content production process.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE

Role

You will write, edit, and manage engaging and consistent content for the organization’s  media towards internal and external audiences. Qualified candidate should have interest in energy and finance.

 

Main activities

 

We’re Looking for someone who
·  Has strong interest for communication and content process, as well as energy and finance
·  Can lead brainstorming, planning and creation efforts for highly engaging content for all media, own and paid
·  Is highly skilled at expressing important information through the written word and other scalable delivery formats, such as graphics, video and audio
·  Is extremely organized and diligent in on-time editorial calendar execution.
·  Understands the many facets of web content and how SEO impacts content marketing
·  Can adapt to a fast changing environment
Your responsabilities

Drive the creation of thought leading content that helps our BU build greater authority and brand awareness by increasing reader engagement, growing web visitor traffic, motivating desired calls to action, enhancing SEO performance, fostering internal and external social media activity and improving other readership key performance indicators.

What you’ll do all day

·  Lead the on-time creation and delivery of high-quality and engaging content, in english only, for our various internal and external communication channels including intranet articles, press releases, website, social media, TV screens, etc.
·  Support the organization with questions/issues related to internal and external communications, including advice on development of content, speeches, power point, pictures and videos.
·  Develop and implement key corporate messages based on the company’s vision and strategies
·  Ensure content is engaging and accurate
·  Forecast content performance to align content strategy with business goals.  Initiate and implement improvement actions.
·  Monitor and measure the effectiveness of media presence.
·  Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications.
·  Manage our collaborative content planning process including brainstorming, refinement and finalization of content topics for editorial calendars
·  Collaborate with communication team and internal stakeholders to ensure content plans meet business needs
·  Work with digital communication officer to ensure content is SEO optimized and promoted effectively
·  Work closely with operational teams to leverage relevant information and contextualize it for external audience
·  Interview internal stakeholders and design communication action plan to meet their goals
·  Prepare relevant brief for external writers, provide constructive feedback and work with them to push the creative
·  Post new content on website using content management system and contribute to management of social media channels
·  Design infographics and pictures to illustrate contents
·  Copyedit for grammar and typos
·  Manage budget
Manage Projects
·  Manage the editorial calendar, schedules and deadlines for editorial content creation
·  Manage and optimize the new sharepoint website dedicated to our Communication team
·  Manage picture library, documentation and consent forms, and organize photo shooting sessions
·  Share our agile and innovative mindset that fosters contant improvements in our communication strategy and drive transformation in using digital tools

YOUR PROFILE

 

Education & professional background

·  Master Degree (Bac +5) in Business School or in Communication (Science Po, Celsa, etc…)
·  Previous experience from communications, journalism, media, PR or similar
·  Experience with writing, editing and producing content for internal and external communication channels, including social media
·  Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and fluent English
·  Web/online technology experience and interest

Technical & Business skills

Skills and abilities we are looking for:

·  Must have excellent writing and editing skills, solid editorial judgement, verbal communication, coordination, and project management skills
·  Attention to detail with ability to fact check and proofread for accuracy in spelling, grammar, and format
·  Experience with website content management systems is a plus
·  Understanding of search engine optimization and how metadata and taxonomy can help drive search results

Confortable working in a fluid & highly collaborative environment with a strong ability to listen and adapt
