ENGIE are recruiting for a Cleaning Operative to be based in Vinewood House, Unit 1, Waters Edge Business Park, Campbell Road, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 4DB. This is a permanent part time role working 10 hours per week at £7.50 per hour.
Working days and hours are Monday – Friday 16:00 - 18:00. Please note that the nature of the role might occasionally require you to work different hours to those specified in your contract so flexibility is essential.
As cleaning operative you will deliver all aspects of cleaning of these premises. Main responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with all relevant Health & Safety standards and to undertake any refresher training as required. Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are upheld and to maintain a good attendance and timekeeping record at all times.
Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:
· The Cleaning Operative will be expected to make sure that all their working areas in these premises are kept to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety and presentation
· Be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and COSHH laws or regulations and make certain that all company Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to
· Undertake any refresher training as required
· Ensure compliance with all company systems and processes
· Report to line Manager any maintenance issues that may arise
· Be used to working under pressure, problem solve and to use their initiative when necessary
· Observe the site rules and maintain a smart appearance and wearing the companies uniform at all times
· Ensure that instructions for the maintenance, cleaning and storage of equipment are always followed
· Be proactive and creative in improving current best working practises, while following the company safety procedures
· Be prepared to perform any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager

· Experience within the cleaning/hospitality industry
· Proven knowledge of cleaning/hospitality best practices
· Good Timekeeping and attendance record
· An outgoing personality with strong customer service focus
