Engie are recruiting for a Cleaning Assistant to be based in Tyne & Wear Fire & Rescue Authority Barmston Mere Nissan Way Sunderland SR5 3QY. This is a permanent part time role working 15 hours per week (Monday to Friday and 3 hours per day. The shift pattern is 6AM-9AM). On offer is a salary of £6,107 per annum. The role holder will report to the Cleaning Manager The role of the Cleaning Assistant will include, but not be limited to, the following tasks: • To complete timesheets on a daily basis and submit to the Cleaning Manager at the end of each week • To have full knowledge of all areas which have to be covered in the course of duty • To ensure that all specified areas as stated on the work schedule are cleaned to the standard required and all daily, weekly and periodic tasks are carried out • To have a full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents • To have a full working knowledge of secure and general waste procedures and to ensure they are followed • To ensure all cleaning equipment is kept clean and maintained in good, safe working order • To respond to reactive cleaning tasks which may include dealing with bodily fluids. • To be aware of material expenditure and avoid unnecessary waste. • To report any maintenance defects to the Cleaning Manager • To observe Client and Company rules at all times • To wear the ENGIE uniform provided and safety footwear as issued • To observe all Client and Company Statutory Fire and Safety Regulations and to promote good safety habits and methods of work • To deal with any complaints immediately, and report to the Cleaning Manager • To perform miscellaneous cleaning duties as apparent or as instructed by the Cleaning Manager • To carry out any other ad hoc duties as requested by the Cleaning Manager For more information about ENGIE please visit:http://www.engie.com/en/candidates-area/
