Engie are recruiting for a Catering Assistant to be based in St David's hospital, Cowbridge Road East canton, Cardiff CF11 9XB. This is a permanent part time role working 16 hours per week (Mon - Wed & Friday 12noon to 3pm, Thursday 11am to 3pm). On offer is a minimum wage salary. The role holder will report to the Catering Supervisor and will support in the provision of all elements of the catering services, ensuring they are able to carry out their roles effectively. Ensure needs of the service users are a priority. 

To carry out the day to day activities in the kitchen and if necessary in other areas of the hospital. I.e. ward kitchens. ensuring that end user needs are put first by considering standards agreed with the client are met and exceeded.

•Experience of working in a similar support role within soft services is essential, 
•Food Safety certificate is essential,
•Good organisational skills and the ability to work unsupervised is also essential.  
•Good communication and interpersonal skills
