Engie are recruiting for an Auditor to be based in Luton & Dunstable Hospital Lewsey Road Luton. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week. The 5 days will/may differ week to week). On offer is a salary of £18,447 per annum. The role holder will report to Contract Manager and will be responsible for the coordination and day to day auditing of standards for the domestic and/or catering services.  The post holder will work closely with management, supervisory and domestic staff to ensure a high standard of service is provided to wards, areas and departments. The post holder will also interface directly with the Trust management and monitoring teams as well as matrons, sisters and ward and department staff.

•The post holder will have direct contact with lead management within the Trust.
•advise on best practice, remedies and follow up on the remedial actions, liaising with management supervisory and domestic staff.
•Contribute to meeting KPI and Performance Management requirements, potentially impacting on revenue.  
•Ensure standards are maintained by identifying areas of non-compliance or unsatisfactory standards, highlighting to supervisory and management staff, participate in the analysis and remediation process.
•Be responsible, together with supervisory staff, for regular quality controls checks.
•Record results using relevant systems and processes
•Analysing and communicating audit results

•Previous experience in similar role, preferably within an NHS and hospital environment is required. 
•Ability to communicate at all levels
•Understanding of cleaning practices, particularly BICS
•Understand food safety
•Experience of liaising with clinical staff 
•Experience of challenging standards 
•Experience of working with clinical staff
•Use of C4C or other audit tools would be an advantage
•Understanding how NHS audit processes work
•Experience in supervising domestic and/or catering services in clinical settings
