Job description

Keepmoat Regeneration are recruiting for an Assistant Bid Writer  to be based in The Lighthouse, 14 The Quays, Salford M50 3BF. This is a permanent full time role working 08:00 - 16:30 Monday - Thursday and 08:00 - 16:00 Friday. On offer is a competitive, company vehicle and benefits package.

Purpose of the Role:
The main purpose of the role is to assist in the compilation and production of quality bids to secure contracts and framework membership. 

Key Responsibilities:

·  Assisting and managing the process of compiling and producing bids (PQQs and Tenders), presentations and client proposals and related phases in order to win construction/refurbishment contracts
·  Creating high quality proposal documents including producing, co-ordinating and editing written content that is innovative, successful, accurate and meets diverse client, framework and project needs
·  Maintaining bid momentum, identifying opportunities, managing portals, securing resources and collating information
·  Developing effective relationships with internal stakeholders including operational, estimating and service teams, subcontractors and external clients
·  Compiling, updating and sharing records including a bid library, databases, action plans, win rate reports and corporate systems
·  Supporting the achievement of bid team targets and deadlines

Experience

·  Previous experience within a Bid Writing/Coordination role
·  Construction industry knowledge
·  Social Housing Knowledge/Experience
Skills and abilities

·  Established written communication skills
·  High level of interpersonal skills; able to communicate at all levels.
