Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a  to be based in RAF Lakenheath / Felwell & Mildenhall Medical and Dental facilities, Building 916 workshop, RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk IP27 9PN. This is a permanent, full time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00. On offer is a competitive salary and a company vehicle.

 

General Overview: 

Site Air Conditioning Engineer with electrical qualifications for our RAF Lakenheath and Feltwell dental and medical contract, duties include:

·  Air Conditioning and ventilation maintenance and repairs
·  LV Electrical fault finding and minor repairs
·  General task planned preventative maintenance inspections
·  Assisting Electrical and Mechanical engineers
·  Company van to carry tasks within the 24 buildings on RAF Lakenheath, Mildenhall and Feltwell
·  Completion of log books and paper work to meet tight KPI requirements
·  Optional callout cover
·  Optional shift engineer cover
·  Sub-contractor escorting duties
·  Customer forward thinking
·  Forward customer facing and focussed 
·  Demonstration of the values of Drive, Commitment, Daring and Cohesion

Capable of building strong working relationships with current and new customers.

Capable of sound decision making whilst working under pressure

Able to lead others and good communications skills

Displays a High standard of integrity/responsibility and delivers on commitments

Qualifications or Required Experience:

·  High degree of personal motivation.
·  Ability to work as part of a team
·  Ability to work on own initiative and with the minimum of supervision.
·  Outgoing personality essential for dealing directly with Clients and customers design team.
·  Good negotiator.
·  Commercial awareness.Strong M&E and FM background.
·  Knowledge of building fabrication.
·  Good Microsoft Excel skills.
·  Good communication skills.
·  Well organised with a high attention to detail.
·  Have the ability to meet tight deadlines and focus on priorities despite a very wide range of competing demands on time.
·  Willing to learn and adapt to differing situations and requirements.
·  Demonstrate customer focus.
