Air Conditioning Engineer

ENGIE are recruiting for an Air Conditioning Engineer to be based at Bombardier, Litchurch Lane, Derby , DE24 8AD. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a leading industry salary and excellent benefits package.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 07:30 – 16:00

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  Repair systems, plant or equipment to the required standards.
·  Ability to measure, work to plans ( method statements), read technical diagrams and communicate, present and report technical information as appropriate to trade/ skill
·  Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge of H & S & environmental regulations.
·  Monitor and assess ongoing machine/ facility performance, through PPM programme as appropriate, identifying any additional works required to meet fit for purpose standards.
·  Provide out of hours cover in accordance with roster.
·  Administer and complete relevant paperwork for all assignments and forward to the office for filing.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

·  Experience within a similar role/environment is essential
·  Computer literate with good skills in word, excel, email, internet etc
·  Able to work on own initiative
·  Good knowledge of SHEQ procedures, risk assessments, work permits etc
·  Recognised EITB or CITB apprenticeship or other similar approved training or further education qualifications in an appropriate discipline
·  Minimum air conditioning engineer qualifications to City & Guilds 2072. NVQ Level 2 or Equivalent
·  Fully conversant with all major manufactures systems and equipment
·  Must have C&G award in 2079-11 F-Gas and ODS regulations
