ENGIE are recruiting for a Administration Assistant to be based in Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, DN31 1HB. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week.  On offer is a salary banding of £16,000- £17,000 dependent upon skills and experience.

General Overview  

The role is to administer the Greater Lincolnshire Energy Efficiency Network (GLEEN) new home energy efficiency scheme – Lincs 4 Warmer Homes (L4WH). The post will be responsible for receiving energy efficiency enquiries from across the Greater Lincolnshire area.   Signposting residents to relevant partners for the delivery of Energy Company Obligation (ECO) funding the post will secure funding to install heating and insulation measures in residents' homes.  The post holder will be able to communicate effectively. The post holder should be passionate about improving resident’s health and wellbeing improving resident’s homes effected by living in the cold.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

· 
Deal with members of the public, referral partners and energy suppliers and maintain close relationships with managing agents and installers of the L4WH framework.

· 
Respond to enquiries and referrals received in to the GLEEN home energy hub for the L4WH scheme, including answering the telephone enquiry line for Greater Lincolnshire, emails and letters.

· 
Establish eligibility for the Energy Company Obligation (ECO), including ECO Local Authority Flexible Eligibility and other L4WH scheme(s). Use the fuel poverty assessment toolkit as appropriate to do this.

· 
Prepare declarations for ECO Local Authority Flexible Eligibility for signature by the designated officer.

· 
Make referrals to managing agents and installers on the L4WH framework.

· 
Receive quotations for the cost of measures on behalf of residents setting out the amount of ECO funding and establish the level of the householder contribution. Establish whether top-up funding is available from other L4WH scheme(s), local authorities, charitable sources.

· 
Confirm the applicant is able to proceed with or without further support meeting their householder contribution and confirm to the managing agent or installer.

· 
Support residents throughout the whole application process as needed.

· 
Maintain paper and electronic records securely in compliance with data protection legislation.

· 
Data inputting on a bespoke database and maintaining accurate electronic records, producing highlight reports on a weekly basis and detailed reporting to the Greater Lincolnshire Energy Efficiency Network (GLEEN) on a quarterly basis.

· 
Make calls to customers.

· 
Respond to email messages and letters.

· 
Support to arrange energy efficiency promotional events which could include mail outs, booking meetings and events with key stakeholders.

· 
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

· 
Prepare purchase orders and maintain financial accounts.

· 
Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably expected at this level.

Qualifications or Required Experience

·  Literacy and Numeracy Skills to level 2 
·  NVQ Level 2 administration or previous experience providing administrative support activities.
·  Ability to work with minimal supervision is essential.
·  the ability to work independently and as part of a team;
·  effective communication skills both written and orally;
·  organisational and prioritisation skills;
·  competent ICT skills including use of databases and MS Office (outlook, work excel);
·  ability to maintain accurate case and financial records;
·  motivation, drive, focus, initiative and innovation; and
·  responsive to changing requirements and priorities and be able to adapt to unpredictable circumstances.
·  Adaptable to change and new working practices
·  Flexible to meet the needs of the service

Desirable: 

·  Knowledge of energy efficiency grants and initiatives
·  To complete and pass the City and Guilds Level 3 Energy Awareness course
