Account Director to be based in Queen Elizabeth Hospital - Birmingham B15 2TH . This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 09:00-17:30. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.
General Overview:
A senior role as an ambassador for Engie across the site, with overall H&S and commercial responsibility for Queen Elizabeth Birmingham hospital. Reporting to the Operating Unit Director (OUD), the Contract Director will be the senior lead for service delivery, compliance, client relationships, life cycle. The role will also act as an escalation point. Reporting directly to Operating Unit Director
Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:
Commercial, Finance & Delivering:
· To lead, direct and motivate the Engie team to enable contribution to the best of their ability and maximise their potential
· Responsible for the management of the service delivery which meets / exceeds the needs of internal and external customers of the contract.
· Ensuring maintenance is carried out in line with budgetary and quality constraints and in line with agreed service levels and all relevant legislation.
· Ensuring effective working relationships are enhanced with key stakeholders by regularly exceeding the standard of work delivered and coordinating the services activities
· To manage all aspects of contract delivery and future growth
· To deliver the business strategy Engie/ QEH and achieve service objectives and profit while maintaining a high level of Customer satisfaction
· To represent Engie in all operational matters through sound decision making
· To grow business reputation and longer term business opportunities through effective client relationship management and customer service excellence
· To ensure financial budgets and commercial / SLA obligations are achieved / exceeded
· To celebrate success and drive continuous improvement with the teams, ensuring interface between teams, with other sites, Project Co and Customers at all levels to deliver as one team
· To develop staff and ensure all have been provided with the mandatory and best practice training required to enable them to have the capability to carry out their roles.
· Plan for further succession planning
Reporting & Targets:
· Produce and validate monthly reports for both the client demonstrating service compliance with contracts and sector targets
· Develops effective working relationships with functions, business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors to improve operational performance
· Provides accurate and punctual monthly reports
· Achieves required SLA/KPI targets
· Support the PFI partners and NHS Trusts with projects, initiatives and site improvements / efficiencies, such as energy procurement and utilisation
· To aid the growth of business reputation by improving, standardising and developing the monthly and quarterly reports

· Total knowledge and understanding of the SLAs, opportunities and risks
· Detailed, ‘hands on’ knowledge of the estate and provision of services
· Scope of works extended in service area adding to revenue and profit.
· Renewals, additional works and re-bid business achieved against pre-set targets
· New business achieved against target and assistance with ongoing BD activity
· Financial and business performance objectives achieved

Qualifications or Required Experience:
· To be successful the candidate will need to be able to demonstrate a strong leadership & delivery background within a similar environment.
· As a senior leader within the Operating Unit, the Contract Director will be expected to act as an example to the team, as such a person of similar experience is required as is a reputation which demonstrates confidence from all levels .
