Job description
OVERVIEW
In charge of the contractual analysis, risk assessment, negotiation of terms/conditions and post-signature management to minimize the potential risks for the company and extract the maximum value from each contract. Includes coordinating with internal stakeholders, negotiating with suppliers, conferring with legal counsel, and determining mitigation strategies on legal issues. Provide contract management support on multiple projects including validation of invoices for payment, negotiation and management of change orders, and preparation of contract amendments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
•Provide full range “cradle to grave” contract management by providing input to Procurement on Request For Proposals to ensure the coverage of all contractual requirements and specifications in accordance with company policies and procedures; lead/conduct contract negotiations on terms and conditions for construction and supply agreements in coordination with all internal stakeholders, suppliers and legal counsel and drive the review process to ensure timely execution of agreements to maintain project schedules and cost.
•Monitors multiple contracts' and projects' performance and scope of work determining good execution of contract requirements and needs for amendments, in full coordination with the Project Manager.
•Elaborate strategies and execute communications with the contractors in coordination with the Project Manager, to extract the maximum value from each contract and generate strong documentation to prepare the potential execution of penalties, guarantees or arbitration proceeds in case of need
•Become a trusted internal resource and build strong partnerships and successful cross-department relationships with Procurement, Business Development, Finance and Legal.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES
•Deep understanding of contract structure and legal clauses
•Experience with arbitration an upside, both in ICC and local tribunals
•Effective verbal and written communication
•Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work within multi-disciplinary project teams
•Adept organizational and detail orientation skills
•Ability to analyze situations and information and formulate a plan of action
