Laboratory Technician

Job description

Our client is seeking a Technician to carry out product quality and compliance testing relating to bonding products in a safe and timely manner.

As well as to test and analyse samples, you will need to report back results and communicate them where necessary.

To maintain awareness of site practices and quality procedures, and take action where these may adversely affect product quality.

To build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues in operations and commercial.

All candidates applying must have a minimum A-Level in Chemistry.

• Safety - to comply with Company Health & Safety Policy and promote a high standard of safety awareness at all times.
• Tests - to carry out product sampling and testing in line with procedures.
• Documentation - to complete documentation and ensure this is filed correctly, and input test results into the appropriate technical systems.
• Carrying out tests on time and meeting test frequency - reported in Quality KPI's.
• Carrying out accurate tests to relevant standard and reporting the results on company systems.
• Compliance with standards and QA procedures, measured in company internal and external audits.

This post is for a period of 3 months, however could be longer, with a start date scheduled for October.
