Job description
The HR Coordinator is responsible for a variety administrative and generalist functions in support of the site HR Department.
Responsibilities include:
• Input new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, information updates, benefits data, reset employee passwords, etc. into PeopleSoft HRIS.
• Administer drug screens, background checks and e-Verify for new hires.
• Prepare new hire orientation packages; update orientation presentation as needed.
• Conduct new hire orientations.
• Coordinate hiring of temporaries through staffing agencies for special projects.
• Benefits administration, including open enrollment.
• Prepare COBRA notices.
• Prepare FMLA and STD paperwork; coordinate leave processes with employee, payroll and provider.
• Coordinate Service Award Program.
• Coordinate Corporate Housing accommodations.
• Maintain HR bulletin boards and all HR-related postings.
• Training coordinator for training classes/workshops.
• Assist HR Manager with corporate responsibilities.
• Assist employees with various HR matters.
• May perform other duties as assigned
Responsibilities
• Minimum of a bachelor degree.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to deal effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience utilizing PeopleSoft highly desirable
