SYSTEM ENGINEER DUBAI
Emerson Automation Solutions is seeking a candidate to fill the position of System Engineer to support the Distributed Control System (DCS) and Safety Instrumented System (SIS) configuration and design activity. He/She will be responsible for executing the engineering activity under the supervision of the Lead Engineer. He/She will be based in Dubai and will extensively work in Shop floor to support the configuration and Software and Hardware Testing activities. He/She will also support the Documentation work in various projects. In addition to the Shop Floor work, he/she will need to travel to site to support Functional checks.
Roles and Responsabilities
- Execute and Test the software configuration.
- Develop and Test Graphics/Reports.
- Test the Configuration/Graphics/Reports developed in BCEC (Best Cost Engineering Center).
- Conduct Loop checks using Simulator on shop floor.
- Participate the Pre-FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and FAT activity.
- Support the Project Documentation activity.
- Report to the Project Lead Engineer while performing the engineering activities.
- Support the Project Lead in Hardware Ordering.
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering in instrumentation/Electronics Engineering
Experience
1 Years Experience in control valves or other engineering industry
Languages
English, French – to read, write and speak with good proficiency, Arabic could be appreciate
