Intern, London, UK

  • Internship
  • London (Greater London)

Job description

EMERGENCY has been providing free, high-quality care to the victims of war, poverty, and landmines for over 23 years. In that time, we have treated over 8 million patients, built and operated hospitals in 16 countries, and have trained hundreds of medical and nonmedical staff.

Who are we looking for and what will you do? We are looking for an intern who can support the team with day-to-day office activities. This could range from helping with materials for donors and volunteers to proofreading and administrative tasks. This role will provide valuable experience for anyone wishing to pursue a career in the charity sector. You’ll play an important role in our close-knit team, and work with us to spread the message about EMERGENCY’s work across the UK. Flexibility and an ability to multitask are essential.

The internship is unpaid but lunch and reasonable travel expenses will be refunded. Ideally, we would like you to volunteer with us for at least 2 days a week, but we can be flexible with this for the right candidate. The internship lasts for 3 months, starting in February 2018. We cannot sponsor visas, so only applicants who have eligibility to work in the UK will be considered for the above post.

How to Apply Please send us your CV with a cover letting outlining your relevant experience and why you think you’re the right person for this internship
