Home Support Worker (Weekend Staff) Guaranteed Hours

Job description

Elyon Healthcare is looking for home support workers to compliment our current staff by working during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) in Northampton and Wellingborough. Additional hours can also be provided during the week should you desire to work more. Furthermore, the role will provide guranteed hours to the successful candidates and other benifits specified below.

Requirements:

We are looking for individuals with the ability to work in home care environment providing personal care. Experience is desirable but not essential, as fully training will be provided. Please note that it is preferred for applicants to have a full driving licence and car, but not a necessity.

General Responsibility:

Your duties will include provision of care and support to our customers in their own home, based on their individual circumstances. You will provide personal care, washing and dressing, oversee medication and be involved with meal preparation, shopping and light domestic duties. You will get to know the people you’re caring for and understand exactly what they want and need, helping them achieve things that they wouldn’t be able to do by themselves, allowing them to live independently.

We are looking for staff who will treat all our customers with dignity, patience and compassion, developing relationships based on trust and reassurance. Full training will be provided.

We currently have an opportunity to work for us in Northampton, Wellingborough and Surrounding Areas

We offer excellent rate and enhanced rates for drivers plus mileage for travel between calls.

Salary:

£7.30 to £9.50 per hour Saturday and Sundays

Flexible Working

Elyon healthcare will try to accommodate you flexible working requirements where possible. At present we have part time hours available for those with availability between the hours of 7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm, We also have opportunities for our staff to only nights.
