Job description

This role will suit a bright and agile thinker as the position will be busy, varied and with a growing global client base. English is the main language needed although other language skills would be useful. This role will involve communication with existing and new clients to build relationships and provide a high level of customer service. The successful candidate will be IT literate, very organised, comfortable and confident on both the telephone and with written communications. Regular office administration will be included as part of the role including support duties and providing cover for the Export Customer Services team

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary Function

    • Follow up on sales and exhibition leads. Develop new and current relationships by having regular contact with prospects, qualify and then hand over sales leads to relevant Field Sales Managers.

    • Keep international client and prospect database updated, useful and relevant, including adding all new leads from each international exhibition and future research projects.

    • Develop contact database to enable regular marketing activity including:

        • Sending monthly email newsletters

        • Mailshot new catalogues

        • Invitations to International Exhibitions


    Secondary Function

    • Provide support to the Customer Services Team such as:

      • Pre- sale customer communications to follow up enquiries and quotes

      • Sales order entry

      • Post sale customer service - follow up with any trouble shooting and order enquiries

    • Provide administration support to the Director of International Sales when required.

  • Assist with any other work requested by the company from time to time.
