Job description

Element is a highly creative marketing agency with offices in London and LA, that provides prizes, and incentives to some of the biggest brands and film distributors on the planet. We currently have an exciting opening to join our fantastic team as a prize creator and copywriter. We’re looking for somebody with an interest in travel, a creative mind and the ability to write compelling, inspiring and brand-led creative copy for our global campaigns, pitches and proposals.

The desired candidate will be able to come up with fantastic prize ideas inspired by upcoming films, advertising campaigns and promotions. It is essential that the candidate can write excellent, concise and highly creative copy. Candidates should have a relevant degree. Experience or a proven interest in movies, brands and travel would also be highly desirable. Please include a covering letter and let us know why you think you would be perfect for this role.

Overview of requirements:

- Researching and developing unique new concepts for global experiences, prizes and incentives for high profile movie releases and brand partnerships

- Keeping on top of the latest trends and exciting suppliers around the world

- Writing exciting and highly creative copy for presentations and pitches

- Ensuring all copy is targeted to the correct audience, brand or movie release with the relevant tone and style

- Revising, editing and proof reading copy based on the Account Director or clients’ needs

- Creating and managing the budgets for your projects

- Image sourcing and pitch document/presentation design

- Writing occasional copy for the company website, blog and marketing materials

Required Skills:

- Strong interest in promotional marketing

- The ability to come up with fresh, exciting and on-trend prize ideas

- Exceptional creative copy writing skills

- Excellent attention to detail and grammatical accuracy

- The ability to adapt your style and tone of writing according to the target audience, movie or brand

- A strong interest in movies, travel and popular culture

- Good knowledge of international travel locations and destinations

- The ability to work to very tight deadlines, thrive under pressure and manage your time effectively

- Numerical accuracy when working with budgets in Excel

- Excellent Power Point skills with an eye for creative design

- Demonstrated ability to write fantastic copy through university work, work experience, or personal projects and social media

- Educated to degree level (2:1). A relevant degree or qualification would be a plus
