Job description
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Electrolux Reliability Technician is responsible for the quality of the refrigerator design. This individual will be responsible to carry out all testing and component validations related to the reliability of the domestic refrigerators.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Design and build test fixtures, including fabrication, wiring, wire diagrams, pneumatics and PLC programming.
· Perform special projects and daily work order.
· General mechanical skills.
· Electrical skills, consisting of wiring, schematic reading, wire diagrams, and controls.
· Technical report writing skills.
· Reviewing test data
· Working with engineers
· Use a variety of equipment such as digital multi meters, hi-pot, acetylene torch and hand tools.
· Working on computer and specialized programs
· Other Miscellaneous tasks.
· Other on the job duties may be assigned

Desired profile
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
· Associates degree in the fields of engineering, industrial maintenance or electronics required
· Previous experience as a lab technician in a R&D environment required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
· Proficient with PC software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power point. Advanced math skills (ie Algebra) required.
· Team oriented with good verbal, written and leadership communication skills.
· Will be required to learn and perform new or added responsibilities.
· Must have high level problem solving and organizational skills.
· The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Must be able to operate a hi-low and or automobile.
