Job description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Electrolux refrigeration technician is responsible for the quality and performance of the refrigerator design. This individual will be responsible to carry out all laboratory testing and validations of domestic refrigerators and freezers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Constructing mechanical refrigeration system
·  Perform special projects and daily work orders determine performance and certify refrigeration products
·  Reviewing test data
·  Working with engineers
·  Use a variety of equipment such as digital multi meters, hi-pot, acetylene torch and hand tools
·  Working on computer and specialized programs to set up data acquisition and write laboratory reports
·  Other Miscellaneous tasks

Desired profile

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

·  High school diploma or equivalent GED certificate
·  Associates degree in the fields of HVAC, Industrial maintenance with HVAC courses, or equivalent work experience with course certifications.
·  Certified as a Technician Type II as required by 40 CFR 82 Subpart F

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

·  Welding and brazing skills
·  Electrical skills, consisting of wiring, schematic reading, wire diagrams, and controls.
·  Understand refrigerator mechanical components and their operation.
·  General mechanical skills.
·  Proficient with PC software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power point
·  Team oriented with good verbal, written and communication skills.
·  Will be required to learn and perform new or added responsibilities.
·  Must have high level problem solving and organizational skills. 
·  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.  Must be able to operate a hi-low and or automobile.
