POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The HR Coordinator will report directly to the Human Resources Manager and dotted reporting lines to the HR Partners. HR Coordinator’s provide guidance, support, and coordination in the consistent and effective application of policies, procedures, and practices of Human Resources department. One responsibility of HR coordinator is to assist HR Partners in every aspect of human resources from discipline progressing to keeping track of all employee records. The HR Coordinator plays a critical role in the effectiveness of the employee positive work environment by ensuring much of the work that makes the HR department run smoothly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for the organization of the office
· Responsible for record keeping of employees as well as formulating new methods that would greatly help in the retention of employees
· Responsible in coordinating with people leaders regarding the proper implementation of policies and procedures implemented by the company
· Assist with the site promotion of the wellness program
· Conduct new hire orientation
· Support the recruitment / hiring process by sourcing candidates
· Identifying, reviewing, and advising on tasks related to recruitment process and employment strategies to meet human resources requirements
· Undertaking quality checks of selection and recruitment processes and reports; liaising with external consultant and management to ensure effective meeting of guidelines and standards
· Interpret, assist and advise employees and people leaders regarding cooperative agreement applications leave management and benefit administration, and HR procedures and policies within the specified guidelines
· Support in job bibbing process and preparation of employment interviews and background tests
· Establish, organize and supervise the maintenance of department records, ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality
· Prepare, review, interpret, analyze and approve a variety of data, information and reports, and make recommendation depending on findings
· Acts as a liaison between employee and insurance provider
· Responsible for data integrity
· Assist with payroll processing

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent years of experience
· 1 year of Human Resources experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
· Able to work alone on a broad variety of projects
· Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with people in course of work
· Strong level of influence and negotiation skills
· Medium proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
· Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets
· Good judgment and decision-making skills
· Ability to speak, write and read the English language
