POSITION DESCRIPTION:
NORDIC RANGE MANAGER

OBJECTIVES
The Nordic Range Manager is in charge of the category range management in the Cluster. He/she drive volumes, pricing, share and profitability of the Category together with Category Manger, and executing the PL Strategy. He/she owns the range management process and is accountable for range communication, range optimization of of the Category.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Owns the range management process and is accountable for range communication, range optimization of the category. ROL creation/maintenance and range file maintenance.
• Support the Category Manager in executing the PL Strategy
• Execute category management initiatives together with Category Manager
• Drive product launch together with Category Manager - planning and execution
• Product expert in terms of models and functions/specifications
• Monitor market and competitor environment. Support Category Manager in Market Analysis
• Prepare category presentations. Product presentations internally and externally.
• Work closely with sales to optimise ranges and manage the product phase in / phase out
• Work closely with demand plan team to plan and manage the product phase in and phase out.
• Work closely with product line (LCM/RM) to manage product planning and phase in/phase out.
• Drive product pricing together with Category Manager and responsible for Product and Price information in Baltazar
• Act as third line product support and PS/ ROL Expert (First line Local Product Coordinators, Second line Nordic Product Specialist)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
• Degree in Marketing/ Business Administration or equal.
• Min 3-5 years of experience in a Sales Division or Product related area
• Team player, able to influence and work in a matrix organisation.
• Good communicator and to build networks.
• A proactive hands-on person, Self-Starter, result-driven. Can work independently.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Financial understanding.
• Excellent computer skills, especially in MS Excel, Power Point
• Fluent in English and one of the Nordic languages
