POSITION DESCRIPTION:

KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER E-COMMERCE

Objective
Providing superior customer relationship management to deliver profitable sales and growth with the defined key account(s).
Managing online sales plans and execution.Reporting to Sales Manager Small Appliances

KEY OBJECTIVES

• Build a commercial strategy for the Benelux Cluster for E-commerce accounts and local Dutch E-commerce clients.
• Develop our value market shares with pure players, eg Bol.com/Wehkamp/Coolblue ,with main focus on The Netherlands.
• Drive focus on ensuring our online market shares with “mixed players” such as Mediamarkt, BCC.
• Expert, Scheer & Foppen and others, in close cooperation with relevant KAM/ Sales Manager.
• Ensure and improve our own e-commerce presence (e.g SEM/SEO improvements) in close cooperation with our Digital Marketing support from local and headoffice.
• Build strong relationships with marketing, product lines, local sales teams and planning teams to ensure a strong collaboration and focus on the flawless execution of the commercial strategy in the local markets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage a function responsible for:
• Developing long-term relationships with the key account(s)
• Contributing to the development of our ecommerce business through national sales and marketing programs designed to meet and exceed sales volume objectives for the online partners
• Identifying and capturing opportunities for optimising performance, growth and market share
• Negotiation of annual contracts including; pricing, terms and conditions
• Liaison with product management to optimise the range per key account(s)
• Monitor performance against objectives and follow-up with the key account
• Monitor competition activity in the key account and act on the situation
• Track and follow-up account receivables
• Communication with demand flow to ensure optimised product availability
• Ensuring that shop floor staff are given appropriate sales and product training
• Planning sales promotional activities, including advertisement and POS

• Marketing interest and feeling with on-line sales experience
• Sales, customer and consumer oriented
• At ease with cross-border collaboration with Belgium
• Disciplined with strong administrative skills: system development (Excel)
• Autonomy, initiatives, team spirit, service oriented and organized
• Creative thinker and strong communicator (presentation skills) with visionnaire mind-set
