Financial Business Analyst (Wet) - R&D/Capital

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Financial Business Analyst - R&D/Capital analyst position is key in partnering with the Wet Products (Fabric Care and Dish Care), R&D and Factory teams locally and globally to understand, prioritize and track the R&D/capital projects, as well as lead budgeting and forecasting for R&D and Capital. This role is responsible for ~$30M capex budget (2017).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Ownership and management of capital spend, tracking, accruals, forecasting and annual budgeting, including reporting to Product and Global Ops teams
·  Understand, prioritize and track R&D/Capital projects, aligned with ACE project priorities and financial and resource constraints
·  Participate in and, in some cases, lead financial analysis of projects required through EPM Gate review process including project follow-ups
·  Provide monthly reporting of R&D spend locally and globally
·  Lead the sourcing board process from a finance stand point
·  Help identify proactive spend reductions and profitability maximization initiatives
·  Other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

·  Bachelor of Finance, Accounting or Business required; MBA preferred
·  Minimum of 2-5 years of experience
