POSITION DESCRIPTION:

EMS Change Agent

Lead EMS (Electrolux Manufacturing System) methods and tools in Refrigerator and Chestfreezer Factory to be safer, cleaner, more organized and effective in manufacturing and connected areas (lmaterial flow, quality, production, people) and in office side.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supports the implementation of EMS (Electrolux Manufacturing System) methods and tools throughout the factory

• Trains and supports all factory employees (WC and BC) as well as managers in using EMS tools and encourages the implementation of best practices

• Creates documentation on the best practices of the factory and makes them public

• By training for EMS methods and tools supports the team members in acquiring EMS certificates

• Analyzes and assesses the manufacturing processes, makes corrective actions

• Gives proposals for changing KPI's, if required

• Participates in monthly updating of the Business Plan Deployment

• Responsible for the continuous improvement of the productivity

• By analizing the costs of the production makes proposals for cost reduction

• Supports and takes active part in preparation for the EMS assessment of the factory

• Creates yearly EMS action plan (dashboard)

• Reports activities, actions, results to Global Operations Management and EMS SA Board

• Leads improvement projects by involving the relevant departments and supporting implementation

Desired profile

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• College or university degree in engineering (technical graduation)

• Project management experience (proven track record of being part of improvement projects)

• Is in practice in knowledge transfer, in training and in coaching others

• At least 2 year manufacturing experience

• Knowledge of 5S, Lean and Kaizen principles is a plus

• Computer skills (MS Office)

• Ability to work independently and in team

• Proven track record of cross collaborating in manufacturing environment

• Good communication and presentation skills (communicates at all levels effectively)

• Stress tolerance
