Poste et missions:
The position is based in the EDF Office in Mumbai, India.
The EDF Office supports EDF France Nuclear New Build.
The candidate will be in charge of providing support to our EDF Representative in Mumbai.
Our Representative operates at Group level in Asia, with a strong focus on India, promoting nuclear power as a whole.
The VIE role involves providing technical knowledge in the field of nuclear power, and the EPR in particular, to our EDF Representative. This includes preparation of material (presentations, reports), and attendance of key events. The VIE will be also be expected to provide technical explanations and arguments to the EDF Representative to help achieve the following aims :
- Supporting the relations with India set up by the Group in the field of nuclear power
- Extensive networking with NPCIL to set up long-standing professional relations with key players across all fields
- Being an ambassador for/contributing towards the promotion of nuclear culture, including safety culture, and the EPR in particular
- Representing EDF Group across institutional bodies such as the local authorities, industry, business partners
- Taking responsibility for the quality of relations with local Public Affairs
- Organization, coordination and facilitation of different events hosting delegations of industrial partners
- Local sales compliance and follow-up with intermediaries
- The scope of EDF Group representation will also include promotion of new nuclear offers across Asian countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand etc)..
Profil:In order to apply for this post, applicants should meet the following criteria:
1. An academic background and/or experience in nuclear engineering or operating. Degree in engineering, with a Masters in Nuclear Science. A pronounced interest in technical challenges.
2. High level of industrial/technical awareness, especially concerning the nuclear landscape worldwide
3. Presentation skills
- Comfortable with preparing technical information for key players at different levels (listening skills, ability to get messages across).
4. High level of safety awareness in accordance with EDF Group zero harm policy
5. English and French language skills to a high standard
6. An international background – a history of studying in different countries or frequent travel would be an advantage
7. Ability to work on their own initiative as well as keeping in constant touch with EDF Group needs and policies.
