Security Warden - Sizewell B Power Station, Suffolk

Workplace Solutions are recruiting for a Security Warden to be based in Sizewell B Power Station, Suffolk, IP16 4UR. This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week £20,286 per annum.

Main Responsibilities / Duties include:

·  Perform access to site and verification of customers and ID checks for all visitors to site
·  Issue EDF staff, contractors and visitors relevant passes according to the Security system ensuring correct access is provided to each visitor
·  Perform ad-hoc patrols and assist with Security duties as required
·  Answering visitor queries, receiving and logging details of guests to site
·  Assist with Visitor Centre Tour co-ordinations and providing smooth access to site for visitors
·  Maintain professional attitude and be first point of contact for visitors to site
·  Ensuring the Security system is updated to reflect the SAP pocket book system where necessary to allow unescorted access for appropriate EDF staff/contractors and visitors
·  Manage and maintain visitor to site filing system
·  Facilitate booking in of vehicle deliveries to site
·  Maintain filing system for completed visitor forms
·  Issuing of Security keys to staff/contractors in accordance with Security working instructions
·  Enthusiastic and committed to provide a professional, high quality level service to the Company and the client
·  IT skills including Word, Excel and other software packages as appropriate.
·  Be able to prioritise work, and operate to tight deadlines,
·  Plan, organize and monitor several activities at the same time.
·  Good decision making and problem solving abilities
·  Excellent oral and communication skills with internal and external customers, co-workers and contractors.
·  To be responsive to the need to work extended hours if needed.
