Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a Security Officer to be based in Nelson Way Industrial Park, Nelson Way, Cramlington, NE23 1JR. This is a permanent full time role working 42 hours per week, working 2 days, 2 night, 4 days off shift pattern. On offer is a competitive salary of up to £16,380 and benefits package. This role will report in to the Security Supervisor.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry
·  Obtains help by sounding alarms
·  Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers
·  Controls traffic by directing drivers
·  Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures
·  Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls
·  Maintains organisation's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
·  Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
·  Develop strong professional relationships with customers, sub-contractors and ENGIE customer service teams
·  Provide excellent customer service and promote the “ENGIE” way Company Values.
·  Adhere to the Company policies and procedures
·  Provide a flexible service by: Positively responding to reasonable requests made by supervisor or management Responding to reasonable requests made by the client that fall within contracted scope Courteous, helpful and ‘can do' attitude

·  Experience in a customer service and client facing role
·  Excellent written and verbal skills
·  Understanding of good Health and Safety practices in the workplace
·  Experience in report writing
