ENGIE are recruiting for a Security Officer to be based in Molson Coors Brewery Station Street Burton Upon Trent Staffs DE14 1BG. This is a permanent full time role. Hours of work average 42 per week and include a mixture of 8 hr & 12 hr shifts including nights. On offer is a competitive salary, and benefits package.
General Overview:
Provision of various patrol duties, vehicular and on foot throughout client's Burton sites, recording each patrol point by use of security recording system/s in operation. Carry out duties in accordance with fire legislation including assisting with fire audibility tests and evacuations (including fire drills). Respond to incidents, including emergencies as and when requested. Report all incidents / anomalies to duty Shift Controller/Leading Hand.The officer must liaise with the Security Supervisor, the client's personnel at all levels and the emergency services as and when required.
Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:
· To be the key point of contact for any Engie on site related security issues, ensuring an effective and professional security service for the client
· Protect and safe guard the clients premises, property and staff on site
· Provision of a flexible service to the customer that accommodates any local requirements or specific requests for contracted services and ad-hoc duties as agreed within Contract specifications
· Provide exceptional customer service to all the buildings visitors/staff and contractors
· Manage the internal car park for staff and visitors
· Control access to the site
· Prevention of theft, injury, fire, Securing of property, persons and assets of site
· Protecting the clients brand through good customer service ethos
· Monitor safe working practices, raise Health and Safety concerns
· Meet and greet service to staff, visitors and contractors
· Checking required ID, controlling and registering vehicle / pedestrian movements in accordance with site assignment instructions
· In line with assignment instructions, maintain a check on the perimeter and external areas of the site checking for intrusion, fire or flood in addition to conducting regular highly visible patrols of the site on the perimeter boundary
· Ensuring a correct response and reporting of any incidents or occurrences
· Guarding of premises and property against unauthorised access or occupation, against outbreaks of disorder or against damage, theft or items being dishonestly obtained
· Ensuring that individuals are secure and free from assault or against injuries that might be suffered in consequence of the unlawful conduct of others
· Working within Health and Safety guidelines

· Full UK manual driving licence.
· First Aid at Work qualification.
· Good IT and communication skills.
· Good spoken English and legible handwriting
· Must be physically fit
