Job description

Workplace Solutions are recruiting for a Receptionist / Booking Coordinator to be based in Cannington Court, near Bridgwater TA5. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week up to £18,500 per annum.

Cannington Court EDF Energy's premier residential training centre and acts as a “home away from home” to those using it. It is important that all staff adopt a customer centric attitude that ensures guest expectations are met. The level of hospitality expressed by all staff towards our guest must be of the highest possible standard. All staff must consider themselves customer facing and take all reasonable steps to make guests feel at home.

The role is customer facing and will be the first contact many visitors to Cannington Court will have with EDF or Workplace Solutions thus the role will involve representing both companies and must maintain the highest standards of appearance, Hospitality, organisation and efficiency at all times.

Main Key accountabilities include:-

·  Manage resources to meet daily schedules within this service.
·  Developing, managing and maintaining the standards and Service Level agreement of this service
·  Work with Security Staff whenever necessary to ensure the smooth running of services.
·  Act as Cannington Courts welcome point and shop window
·  Manage the booking and issuing of meeting rooms, accommodation and function space.
·  Maintain the visual appearance of the reception area to a professional standard.
·  As part of the building team, react to emergency alarms in accordance with Procedures.
·  Carry out any duties as may be necessary for the smooth running of the services.
·  Liaise and communicate with visiting guests
·  Operate and keep up to date any IT based visual display equipment and screens
·  To be aware of and carry out the policies and Procedures of EDF, including Fire, Health and Safety, Accidents, Security, Infection Control, Complaints and Confidentiality.
·  To comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act and emergency procedures as required.
·  Manage a number of filing systems for Due diligence records
·  Carry out duties linked to the reception function
·  To be flexible and help out in other parts of the building as required
·  To carry out Health and Safety responsibilities as per FOH, OM and HSM requirements.

Desired profile

·  A good level of general education is required in addition to basic administrative skills
·  Competency with Microsoft Office packages.
·  IT literate, good spoken and written English and sound maths.
·  An ability to speak French is not essential but would be an advantage.

For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
