Plumber - Torness Power Station

Workplace Solutions are recruiting for a Plumber to be based in Torness power station, Torness, Dunbar, East Lothian, EH42 1QS. This is a permanent full time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

·  Serve/repair water supply and drainage equipment as required
·  Undertake planning and installation of required water and drainage equipment
·  Must demonstrate a methodical approach to tasks and plan accurately
·  Able to follow technical drawings and plans
·  Numerical ability for measuring and making calculations (materials estimates and measurements)
·  Knowledge of plumbing techniques
·  Knowledge of the safe operation of basic hand and power tools
·  Be able to rectify problems where appropriate (following correct procedures)
·  Identify and report areas and procedures that fail to meet expected standards (Safety, Technical and Environmental)

·  Must have been a registered apprentice or undergone some equivalent method of training and have had practical training in plumbing work
·  Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
·  C&G 6126 / 6089 For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK. There is no re-location package with this job role.
