Part-Time Cleaning Operative - Yarnfield Primary School, Birmingham

ENGIE are recruiting for a part-time Cleaning Operative to be based at Yarnfield Primary School, Yarnfield Road, Tyseley, Birmingham B11 3PJ. This is a permanent, part-time role working 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3.30pm to 6pm. On offer is a salary circa £4,680.00 per annum (£7.20 per hour), depending on skills and experience. This role will report directly into the Soft Services Manager.

Main Responsibilities/Duties are:

·  To clean specified areas including toilets, floors and office areas, ensuring internal facilities are maintained to a clean and hygienic condition and that the general level of cleaning is maintained to a very high standard.
·  To adhere to Company Health and Safety requirements.
·  To ensure the effective use of equipment and materials, reporting all faults to the Cleaning Manager.
·  To ensure that Health and Safety and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations are complied with at all times.
·  To wear the Company uniform appropriate to the job role and to be clean, presentable, courteous and professional at all times.

Experience is preferred but not essential as all candidates will be given the necessary training.
