Job description
Engie are recruiting for an Energy Administrator Support to be based in Sheffield. This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary of £18,000 per annum.
General Overview:
Engie Energy Services is the UK's leader in developing and expanding sustainable energy solutions through low carbon CHP, Biomass and other renewable energy technologies providing steam, heat, cooling and power to both industry and city wide communities. Engie have over 25 years' experience in the design, finance, installation, commissioning and ongoing long term operation and maintenance of energy schemes in the UK.
In this role you will be a central player in the day to day financial energy activities of the business supporting our clients, operations, finance and engineering offering a varied and dynamic role.
Duties & Responsibility:
· Raising and Checking Invoice backing calculations
· Scanning documents
· Maintaining records on various Excel spreadsheets
· Sales Invoicing
· Supplier invoice monitoring
· Chasing and checking supplier energy data
· Corresponding and dealing with customers and suppliers in relation to energy invoicing
· Supporting the business with energy related financial queries
· Liaising with colleagues at all levels
· Liaising with external agencies
Desired profile
· Motivated and professional with a minimum A Level or equivalent in a Maths and/or Science field
· Demonstrable competence in the use Microsoft Excel
· Confident in learning and mobilising new systems quickly
· Experience in the energy field preferred
· Invoicing experience
· Customer services experience
· Someone who has practical experience in a busy office environment
· Willing to learn and develop For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
