Engie are recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to be based in Engie Project Office Queen Elizabeth Hospital Edgbaston Birmingham B15 2WB. This is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours per week (4on 4off shift pattern comprising of: 0700-1700 x2 1100-2100 2100-0700 x2(rolling). On offer is a salary of £16,700 + £1,169 shift allows per annum.The role holder will report to Supervisor / Charge Hand and will support the Estates Team by providing direct assistance and undertaking routine maintenance tasks as allocated.
• To carry out general duties including support by manual labour for relocations and moves, tidying and cleaning Estates areas and Plant rooms.
• Drive the company vehicle as required meeting the needs of the service.
• To carry out PAT testing after training has been successfully undertaken.
• To respond promptly and efficiently to breakdowns, blockages and sampling requirements.
• Required to attend training programmes as necessary to meet contract requirements and for self-development purposes.
• Required to participate in over-time work from time to time as necessary to meet the requirements of the service.
• To comply with contract and Company Policies and Procedures.
• Undertake water systems maintenance as required to meet contract needs.
• To fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health & Safety Policy Statement, Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments and Zero Harm.
• To support and practice the Company's Quality and Environmental Policies and Mission Statement (Respect, Excellence, Team Work and Integrity).
• To support and practice the Company's Customer Care Philosophy to ensure customer satisfaction.
