Workplace Solutions are recruiting for a HVAC Technician to be based in Sizewell B Power Station. This is a permanent, full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary £32,066 per annum.
General Overview:
To work as part of an HVAC team on a nuclear power station. The incumbent will be required to have a flexible approach to working within a highly regulated and safety conscious environment. This team undertakes maintenance and repair work on station air handling, air conditioning plant and air compressors. The role involves working with heavy industrial compressor systems as well as commercial systems.
Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:
· To undertake refrigeration work within the station HVAC team
· An analytical approach with well developed fault finding skills.
· Maintenance, repair and installation work on refrigeration systems within the scope of the HVAC team

· Time served apprenticed technician
· ONC in factory services or equivalent
· C&G refrigerant charging and handling qualification
· Pipework installation and brazing qualification
· Knowledge and experience gained working with static and dynamic mechanical systems including large fans and compressors associated with HVAC systems would be desireable
· IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification
· Proven post apprenticeship experience with industrial experience
