Job description
ENGIE are recruiting for a Handyperson to be based in Littleborough, Lancashire. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary plus benefits package.
The role holder will carry out day to day site repairs and be first response to faults reported by the helpdesk.
Main Responsibilities / Duties Include:
· To carry out day to day repairs
· To carry out maintenance tasks as requested by site lead
· To respond to call outs as required
· Assisting engineers as requested
· Maintain good housekeeping to ensure that the sites appear clean and tidy at all times
· Update all Job Sheets ensuring accuracy at all times.
· To deliver a high standard and quality service, taking responsibility to ensure customer satisfaction
· Ensure that Health and Safety responsibilities with regard to colleagues, residents, staff and buildings are carried out in line with company procedures
· To actively support and promote Company policies, procedures and protocol, establish good client relations, maintaining a smart, professional image and positive attitude.
· Demonstrates a high level of customer service focus
· Excellent communicator and team player but able to work on own initiative
· Willing to work unsociable hours in the event of any emergency
· Flexible and committed approach to the Company
· Physically fit to carry out general duties
· Capable of achieving a good attendance record
Desired profile
· Able to communicate at all levels
· GCSE in Maths and English
· IT literate
· Capable of handling a wide variety of tasks on a daily basis, including basic handyperson tasks
· To be able to respond to many requests and at times work under pressure
· Knowledge of plumbing and building
· Able to carry out Task Related Risk Assessments, Method Statements and COSHH Risk Assessments
· Experience of working in a similar role For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
