Job description
ENGIE are recruiting for a Handyman to be based in Doncaster, DN1 3LL. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week £17,000 per annum including company vehicle.
All applicants must be able to be vetted before appointment. This is part of the recruitment process.
To be successful in this role you must provide the following:
· Minimum of 3 year history of employment (including information which can be verified for any gaps)
· If you do not have 3 years previous employment, a professional reference must be provided (obtained from a Medical Practitioner, Officer of the Armed Forces, Teacher, Lecturer, Lawyer, Bank Manager, Civil Servant etc)
· Proof of identity & eligibility to work in the UK which must include Photographic I.D - Passport or Driving License. If no legal photographic documentation is owned then a passport photo which has been signed and verified by any of the above professionals will be required. This needs to show their title, signature and contact details.
· 2 proofs of address from within the last 3 months (i.e. council tax bill, bank statement, utilities bills).
· Any required qualifications or driving licence if required for the role. Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:
· To undertake minor fabric reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met
· To actively undertake proactive maintenance works
· Low level PPM tasks as required
· To replace lamps
· Actively ensure that site housekeeping is kept to an acceptable standard particularly in plant rooms
· Transport of cleaning equipment from sites – buffers etc
· Deep clean of carpets using bonnet mop
· Upholstery clean of all soft furnishings by hand / machine
· Deep clean of tiles (High level) in toilet areas
· High level cleaning including blinds
· PAT testing of cleaning equipment – vacuum cleaners, buffers etc
· To ensure equipment and surrounding area conform to agreed company standards
· To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction
· To be fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times
· Dealing with enquiries as and when required
· To take a pro-active approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary
· To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately

Desired profile
· Joinery, plumbing, general building and fabric skills
· Full UK driving licence.
