Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a Facilities Assistant to be based in Leeds Oncology, St James Hospital, Leeds, LS9 7TF.

This is a permanent full time role (working 40 hours per week) and on offer will be a salary circa £16,000 per annum. This role will report into the Maintenance Supervisor.

The main duties and responsibilities are:

·  To maintain a clean, comfortable, visually pleasing environment within the Leeds Oncology Wing including the external areas, courtyards, car park etc.
·  To keep clean the internal lights and grilles so as to reduce the possibility of cross infection
·  Carry out a range of cleaning duties such as
·  Light cleaning
·  Plant room cleaning
·  Rubbish removal
·  Window cleaning
·  Wall washing
·  External litter picking and sweeping
·  Cleaning and washing down of the Multi-storey car park
·  Some of these tasks will
·  Carry out a range of minor maintenance tasks e.g. lamp replacement, patch painting etc as appropriate to individual experience
·  Any other duties as commensurate with the grade

Desired profile

·  No formal educational requirements
·  Good communication and customer care skills
·  Capable of working with minimum supervision
·  Work as a team player
·  Flexible approach
·  Prepared to work out of hours as necessary

For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
