Job description

Workplace Solutions are recruiting for a ENSA (Environmental Safety) Industrial Cleaning Operative to be based in Hartlepool Power Station. This is a permanent, full time role working 37.5 hours per week, from the hours of 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday. On offer is a competitive salary of £22,748.64 per annum (£11.66 per hour)

General Overview:

To manage the ENSA support team, reporting directly to on site ENSA department management
The successful applicant must be focused, enthusiastic, keen to improve and will be very hands on and have an eye for detail. The general objectives / main responsibilities of this role is as follows:

·  Co-ordinate and support teams to achieve agreed goals.
·  Ensure that teams fully understand and adhere to health and safety procedures.
·  Work with teams and other group to achieve continuous improvement.
·  Ensure through teams internal and external customer satisfaction.
·  Communicate to all levels from all levels.
·  Represent the company both internally and externally.
·  Develop members of the team to work with less supervision and more to their own initiative.
·  Respond to and deal with any actions given as professionally as possible at all times.
·  Welcome change throughout the business to assist in growth and improvement.
·  Contribute to setting staff to work, monitoring and maintaining specifications, procedures and standards.
·  Deliver and maintain a high level of housekeeping and cleaning standards.
·  Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
·  Carrying out training of staff and rolling out of tool box talks.
·  Have an understanding of safety documents, permits of work and work order cards.
·  Motivate your team members and others to succeed.
·  Deliver targets and results within set timescales.
·  Auditing of company documents. Attend meetings as and when required.
·  Be flexible to working additional hours as required by the business needs.

·  Good written and communicating skills
·  Computer literate
·  NVQ level 3 or 3 years experience in a similar role is required.
