Engie are recruiting for a Domestic to be based in Royal Infirmary Edinburgh EH16 4SA. This is a permanent part time role working 25.5 hours per week (Fri-Sat-Sun 21.30-06.30). On offer is a salary of £14,626 (allowance inclusive) per annum.The role holder will report to Domestic Supervisor

General Overview:

• To undertake cleaning tasks throughout the hospital/university to the required standards, using the correct cleaning equipment and methods.
• Cleaning responsibilities throughout the hospital including theatres/wards/sanitary areas/departments/public areas.
• Move light equipment where necessary e.g. lockers and chairs etc.
• Ensure equipment is stored and maintained in a clean and tidy condition. Report any repairs of equipment to the Helpdesk.
• Adhere to the Health and Safety guideline e.g. Clinical Waste, Control of Infection
• Where required carry a radio to support reactive requests which may require the re-hanging of curtains.
