Job description

ENGIE are recruiting for a CCTV Control Room Operator to be based in Doughty Road Depot, Doughty Road, Grimsby, DN32 0LL.

This is a permanent full time role (working 37.5 hours per week) and on offer will be a salary of £14,917 per annum. This role will report into the Building and Facilities Operations Manager.

To be successful in this role you must provide the following:

·  Minimum of 3 year history of employment (including information which can be verified for any gaps)
·  If you do not have 3 years previous employment, a professional reference must be provided (obtained from a Medical Practitioner, Officer of the Armed Forces, Teacher, Lecturer, Lawyer, Bank Manager, Civil Servant etc)
·  Proof of identity & eligibility to work in the UK which must include :
·  Photographic I.D - Passport or Driving License.
·  Passport and all relevant work permits
·  or NI Number information / proof and full Birth certificate
·  If no legal photographic documentation is owned then a passport photo which has been signed and verified by any of the above professionals will be required. This needs to show their title, signature and contact details.
·  2 proofs of address from within the last 3 months (i.e. council tax bill, bank statement, utilities bills).
·  Any required qualifications or driving licence if required for the role.

The main duties and responsibilities are:

·  To work as a member of a multi-functional security service on a shift rotation and support all the different elements of the service with the provision of an effective and professional security service
·  To monitor and operate a CCTV system and use digital communication systems
·  To assist with the undertaking of security patrols if required
·  To initiate the appropriate response to incoming alarm activations
·  To provide written reports on all incidents of crime and disorder
·  Maintain good, close and professional communication with the Police, members of the public, the council and other relevant authorities
·  To receive and record all out of hours /emergency telephone calls
·  To provide a central base for the mobile security patrol team
·  To monitor and control ingress / egress to Doughty Road Depot
·  To control vehicle and property keys and maintain accurate records accordingly
·  To act as Fire Warden for the Security Office “Out of Hours”
·  To receive, and securely store, receipted cash from members of the Mobile security team “out of hours.”
·  To have a clear focus on the key priorities for this partnership and the impact an individual's work can make on whichever priority their service area covers
·  To understand the value and usefulness of performance information and appreciate the need to monitor our progress
·  Operate within the policies, systems and business plans of Asset Management and the ENGIE
·  To delivery all works with compliance to ENGIE Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality (SHEQ) standards and policies in line with ISO 18001 (Health & Safety), 14001 (Environmental) & ISO 9001 (Quality)

Desired profile

·  Security Industry Authority (SIA) license for CCTV monitoring and or security patrols.
