YOUR FUTURE ENVIRONMENT
We are in an exciting period of new opportunities in Europe. We are strengthening our international team and have recently open several positions to work within our EIFFAGE Infrastructure branch EIFFAGE Norge, based in Porsgrunn, Norway.
Eiffage Norge is the main contractor for the E18 Langangen-Rugtvedt highway. The project is a 4-lane 18km long highway including 3 bridges and 2 mains twin’s tunnels (Bjonnas Tunnel 2.5km and Grenland Tunnel 5.1km). It started in January 2021 and will run until end 2025.
You will join a dynamic team in Norway with a potential of long-term assignment in Scandinavia.
Eiffage Norge is looking for an ambitious and structured person who will contribute to good quality in the company's financial department. You must have experience from cost control and good communication and collaboration skills. YOUR MAIN TASKS
You will be responsible of coordinating the work of site superintendents and ensure effective and efficient production within set timescales
Reporting to the Construction manager:

Manage/coordinate work of contractors within are of responsibility
·
Provide the inputs to update the work programm
·
Liaise as required with the safety officer and health and safety manager, reports matter of substance to the construction manager
·
Ensure the company’s health and safety working practices are always followed on site
·
Assist in checking the progress schedules and if necessary, modifies them along the lines suggested by the construction manager
·
Control and monitor the quality of manufacturing as per specifications and approved design
·
Follow-up pre-job briefing for each specific work task and ensure understanding by the subcontractors and workers
·
Check all temporary equipment on arrival at site
·
Ensure that work, once started, is carried out as planned and according to the approved method statement
·
Identify and inform the construction manager in case of change during the work execution.
·
Ensure that pretask meeting is performed prior to commencement of the site work. Ensure all subcontractors are aware of the management of change process
·
Control/Check method statements and work control procedure in accordance with construction activities
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
·
Engineering discipline degree
·
At least 1-2 years’ experience on civil engineering projects
·
Speciality in earthworks
·
Excellent Microsoft Office skills,
·
Good written verbal and communication skills in English
