MISSIONSCase analysis.Become familiar with the technical documents provided in the Contractors Shortlist File.Analyze and determine the elements useful for carrying out measurements.Liaise with the various players to obtain the additional elements necessary to review the case (surface, sub-surface, various constraints, etc.), in some cases a site visit may be necessary.Price estimate.Adapt your surveying tool to the situation and the type of works.Carry out measurements, clearly identifying the assumptions made which will affect the final amounts.Establish descriptive, quantitative or estimative quotes for the necessary materials, time and labor.Take part in drawing up the works schedule.Take part in establishing bid estimate details, price details and price schedules at the request of the estimating managersWorks phase monitoring.Check the performance of the suppliers/service providers during the execution of building site.Participate, by carrying out measurements, in the setting up of the building siteJOB REQUIREMENTS (training, education, certifications, etc.).Junior: Construction Economist occupational diploma.Experienced: good knowledge of building site follow-upJOB ENVIRONMENT.Reporting line: Head of department, Project manager, Prices-Methods engineer.Internal relations: Cost studies technician, Estimating manager, Site supervisor, Works supervisor, Project manager, etc..External relations: suppliers, sub-contractors, etc.
