Context & Main Tasks :
Based in Brussel, the Public Affair team is composed of 4 members. Reporting to the Public Programme Manager, the Junior Project Manager will be coordinating the European FOOD programme.
The FOOD programme (Fighting Obesity through Offer and Demand) aims at promoting a healthy eating diet thanks to pioneering communication relays. In the restaurants, the interest is to improve the nutritional value of the dishes proposed and, at the same time, to make the choice easier for the consumer thanks to an increased knowledge. in that perspective, the workplace is the very efficient information vector. Launched as a pilot project thanks to EU funds in 2009, FOOD is now a long-term programme with a Consortium of 27 partners in 9 Member States.
1. Coordination
- Centralise information & country partners’ activities, update documents and tools
- Organise the annual general meeting of partners
- Design an action plan by country and follow-up actions and results
- Follow-up on the annual barometers
- Participate in conferences linked to the programme’s topic
2. Dissemination & Communication
- Community management (social media & website)
- Suggest new communication relay/actions
- Draft several institutional communication documents & design PowerPoints documents
3. Development
- Identify new local and European relays – partnerships, collaboration, …
4. EU monitoring
Monitor key topics for the Public Affairs department
Candidate Profile :
- Master degree in project management or European affairs.
- Previous experience in project management
- Knowledge about EU funding is a plus
Skills :
- Fluent in English and French (other EU languages recommended is a plus)
- Excellent organisational skills

Conditions :
12-month V.I.E contract, based in Brussel, Belgium.
