Job description

We are looking for an energetic and motivated person to join our growing team based in Canary Wharf. You will be working in the organisation of conferences on energy, finance and infrastructure.

PERSON SPECIFICATION AND CORE ACTIVITIES:

* Working on content for websites, covering events and writing articles about the company’s activities
* Building online social media presence for our company and events, engaging in discussions in media groups
* Securing relevant association support and media partners
* Preparing brochure and marketing copy
* Hitting all deadlines to ensure ample lead-time for sales
* Work closely with the production and sales team
* Liaise with operative and strategic partners

Desired profile

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

* Graduate with a minimum 2:1 grade in a relevant subject from a top University
* Aability to demonstrate excellent research and commercial acumen is an absolute must. A candidate with research/content led sales experience is preferable
* It is extremely important to have someone that is aware of the workings of a business
* Must have a strong, confident phone manner
* The candidate must be 100% fluent in spoken and written English.
* Excellent and demonstrable standard of written communications
* Excellent organisational skills and time management are crucial to success in this role, so the candidate must have the ability to multi-task on many different projects, whilst remaining highly-organised and delivering on deadlines.
Other required skills:

*Excellent PowerPoint skills and familiarity with word processing programmes (i.e.: Pages, Microsoft Publisher)
