Within Veolia Group, 2EI is a unique entity whose main objective is to help innovative solutions emerge and get disseminated within our clients’ organization. “2EI Performance” is a new activity providing specific consultancy services with the objectives of identifying and implementing opportunities for performance improvements. This highly collaborative approach combines the technical and operational know-how (of our customers and Veolia Group) with a comprehensive approach to performance transformation and change management. 2EI Performance team has developed an expertise in change management with a specific focus on performance achievement, which encompasses collaborative project management, performance management, stakeholder engagement, and capability building.
To meet the growth targets in North America but also in other countries in the world, 2EI Performance wants to revisit, document and standardize our successes, offers and value propositions across different countries. This will enable us to approach future clients with well-packaged offers that meet their specific needs. The other priority is to create a strong internal network of practitioners and facilitate the coordination of a global community. The objective is to foster sharing and collaboration to continue building a stronger and larger new business line for Veolia.
The PPS (Peer Performance Solutions) business line was developed as a new way for municipalities to benefit from Veolia’s global private. This new business model was first developed in North America and the ambition is now to develop it in other geographies of the group. To be successful in this attempt, 2EI Performance, subsidiary of Veolia, is currently adapting the model to different countries and clients.
2EI is looking for a VIE Junior Associate M/W.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review, consolidate and standardize materials developed from existing projects to create toolkits
- Revisit and prepare new marketing material
- Help create presentations for sales pitch
- Interview internal stakeholders for content development
- Help coordinate a global community of VPS practitioners
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to continuously identify new needs of development to support the growth of the PPS business in North America and worldwide
- Help coordinate regular project meetings and problem-solving sessions, including compilation of meeting materials, recording meeting minutes, and summarizing decisions
- Analytical support for initiative implementation
The VIE will work with the local PPS management team in New-York, but also with the corporate team who is located in Paris.
Profile required:
Educational background: Educational background: Graduate level in Economics, Marketing and Communication, Engineering, Urban infrastructure and Planning or other related fields of study.
Skills:
- Must have a demonstrated interest in working at the intersection of engineering and consulting
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate willingness to take initiative and go the extra mile
- International background or/and experience desirable
- A strong liaison capability will be required for close working relations with the local team, the corporate team and the rest of the global community of practitioners
- Entrepreneurship mindset
- Solid organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to participate in and assist in facilitating group meetings
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Knowledge in working with social media, and creation of websites
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office specifically PowerPoint and Excel
- Fluent in French and English
- Project management skills desirable
Languages: English/ French.
Excellent record of English writing skills is compulsory
Length of the assignment: 12 months
