PROJECT & RFQ COORDINATOR (H/F)

Company:
- Fives ECL, part of the industrial group “Fives”, is the worldwide leader equipment supplier for Aluminium smelters. Its activities are oriented around 3 main areas: Products, Projects and Services.
- ECL Services Middle East is a subsidiary of Fives ECL, and is in charge of services activities for the whole Gulf Region such as Spare Parts sales, Technical Assistance, Refit and Modernisation projects.
- This company is currently looking for a Project & RFQ Coordinator, starting on 01/11/2017.
Position and responsibilities:
- The Project & RFQ Coordinator is a major support for projects delivery. He/She compiles and analyses all the information with regards to manpower, delays, and costs, allowing the project managers to execute their projects according to contractual terms (quality / Lead time / Costs / HSE).
- He/She will lead and be responsible for delivering some small projects.
- He/She is also responsible of coordinating Requests For Quotations. As such, he/she compiles all the information received from customers, contractors, and actors of the project. His/Her major mission is to coordinate the submission of quotations.
- He/She will be accountable for:
- Leading and working in line with the health, safety and environment rules as per Fives values, policy and team’s expectations.
- Building trusting relationships based on respect, dignity, transparent communication and cooperation.
- Being the representative of Fives in front of the customer, while defending Fives interest in the scope of his/her responsibility.
- After training, understanding, explaining and implementing Fives ECL and Fives Solios equipment, plants and technologies used throughout the project on site.
- Anticipate, plan, perform suitable reporting on teams' activity.
- On site, making sure the project goes smoothly; meeting deadlines and mastering planning; using planning tools, controlling quotations’ preparation and follow-up.
Profile:
- College/University Education:
- Master degree in engineering and/or project management (engineering school of equivalent).
- English is a must. French is a plus.
- Relevant experience:
- Previous experience in heavy industry sector will be a plus.
- Experience in Aluminium smelters or aluminium process will be a plus.
- Experience of work in developing countries will be a plus.
- Technical skills:
