eBay Classifieds Group Denmark is looking for a Quality minded software engineer to join our team in Aarhus. Our portfolio of products includes three platforms; DBA, BilBasen and BilInfo.

About us:

DBA is the number one classifieds site in Denmark with more than 20 million visits a month and 1.3 million users. The simple format of DBA makes it incredibly easy for users to buy or sell just about anything.

BilBasen is the number one site for cars in Denmark attracting more than 600,000 visitors each month. Besides the monthly +45,000 listings on the website BilBasen offers everything a vehicle buyer, seller or petrol head needs.

BilInfo is the leading tool for car dealers to advertise and manage their cars online.

At eBay Denmark we encourage our teams to launch quickly, ship imperfect product and iterate based on customer feedback.

The job

As a member of our product and tech organization, you will be working with people across a wide range of responsibilities, such as software engineers, user experience specialists, analysts and business developers, to ensure high Quality Products across all our platforms (BilBasen, DBA, BilInfo).

In order to ensure high Quality Products, we need to have a good, solid and stable automated test suite. This is where you will have the opportunity to shine.

Your main responsibilities will be, together with the cross-functional teams, to bring the automation test strategy for our mobile and web platforms alive. Apart from being the one establishing the foundation, you will be the one that through sparring and guidance, enables the teams to maintain and expand the automation suite.

Besides your focus on test automation, you will together with the other QA´s through guidance and sparring ensure, that the teams knows how to keep our platforms in a good quality.

Responsibilities

·  Responsible for high quality platforms
·  Build up a solid Automated Test Strategy for eBay DK, and help implement it.
·  Guide our developer colleagues in the right direction on our automated tests, and help motivate them to write the right tests themselves.
·  Through risk analysis make sure that we are testing the right things.
·  In tight collaboration with the rest of the organization, work to ensure high quality of the products and services we build.
·  Work together with other eBay counterparts towards providing new and better solutions for our users.

Professional profile

·  You have experience with test automation tools, preferably Selenium
·  You have experience working with automation test strategies
·  You are familiar with automation tools used for mobile testing
·  You are driven by shipping products with high quality
·  You are able to see the bigger picture, but also go into details.
·  You are familiar with the QA area, eg. Risk Analysis and Test Design.
·  You might even have a ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Certification

·  You work independently, but also possesses good interpersonal skills
·  You are good at and enjoy enabling development teams to build high quality products
·  You possess good cooperative skills
·  You have good analytical skills and work systematically
·  You are fluent in English, written and spoken
·  You bring in an experience to share with your colleagues on how to ensure Quality Products
·  You like looking into new ways of working with Quality Assurance, and sharing your thoughts with your colleagues.
