Primary Job Responsibilities

In the Acquisition & Retention team we're looking at making more people visit Marktplaats on more occasions
To do this, we develop most new functionality as A/B tests, which means that the test group is exposed to the new functionality while a control group keeps the old functionality
We then compare the results of both groups to make sure that the new functionality leads to better results
The assignment would be to create and measure a number of experiments over time, probably 1 experiment + measure per month
Because of the way we work it's hard to determine at this time what we will be experimenting on, but if it's necessery we can try to be more precise
We want you to be a regular developer in the team, so you'll work on backend and frontend, mostly java, some scala, javascript, html, using git, maven, thrift, test driven development
