Our back-end stack is Linux, Apache, mod_perl, Varnish, Perl 5, Catalyst, Moose(X), Template Toolkit, Mysql(Pecona), Memcached and Kafka. 2dehands.be was created in 2001 as one of the first classifieds sites in Belgium. With around 470.000 unique visitors per day 2dehands.be is very popular and the number of visitors keeps growing. Every day we get 60.000 new listings on average in categories like Clothes, Collectables, Cars and Household goods. Because we are the biggest classifieds site that connects the most demand with the largest supply, we are the fastest way to buy or sell. It is cheaper and more environmentally friendly than buying new and a great way to make some money and to give your things a second life.

2dehands.be is looking for an experienced perl engineer. As a member of the agile team you will have direct impact on the technology and user experience of the third biggest site in Belgium. Job Requirements

·  Perl programmer. Experience with Moose, Catalyst, and mod_perl are a plus
·  Experience with MySQL, Apache, Selenium WebDriver
·  Team player
·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·  Strong customer focus
·  Strong English communication skills - verbal and written
·  Dutch and/or French are a plus
·  Attention to detail and accuracy
·  Adaptability and flexibility

Experience

·  At least 3 years testing experience
·  At least 3 years of working experience in OO programming in Perl.
·  Experience with working in an Agile environment
·  Experienced Linux user
